Feeling praise-filled this morning! One of my favourite songs of the moment is All Glory by Tim Hughes. I love the lyrics: 'How great is Your love, it never gives up on me. Stronger than shame, it carries me back to You. Jesus my redeemer, You have made a way. All Glory to God who is able, all power and praise. So great is Your love, it keeps all its promises. Unshakable, eternity rests in Your hands. Jesus I surrender, lead me in Your ways.' I feel like today's readings were all about God keeping his promises - even over decades and decades of difficult times. About not giving into our fears that He has abandoned us. And of course about His Power and Glory. At church yesterday part of the sermon was about prayer and how it should lead us to a point of wonder - wonder and awe at His character and amazingness (my words!). Thanks to all of you for helping me to dig into His Word.

Did Andy mean that Jesus spoke about Himself like that not for us to copy Him in that, but to show us He's God? I really loved the Gideon message! Inspiring Charlotte - thanks. Xx
